DriveCentrics Trade-In Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Trade-In Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the DriveCentrics trade-in service; by submitting a device to DriveCentrics, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, be the legal owner of the device, and the device must not be stolen, blacklisted, or subject to any outstanding finance agreement.
3. Device Condition and Accuracy
You are responsible for providing a full and accurate description of your device, all devices are subject to inspection, and where details do not match we may issue a revised offer or return the device at no cost.
4. Price Validity
The set price shown online is valid for a limited period (typically up to 14 days), may change as recycler buy-back levels move, and the final amount is confirmed only after we inspect your device.
5. Sending Your Device
You must package your device securely before shipping, DriveCentrics may provide prepaid postage where applicable, and responsibility remains with you until the device is received by DriveCentrics.
6. Data Removal
You must erase all personal data before sending your device, including accounts, passwords, SIM cards, and memory cards, and DriveCentrics is not responsible for remaining data.
7. Inspection Process
Devices are inspected promptly on arrival and we verify condition, functionality, and authenticity; if discrepancies are identified, a revised valuation will be provided.
8. Revised Offers
You will have a reasonable period to accept or reject any revised offer; if accepted payment proceeds, and if rejected your device is returned free of charge.
9. Payment
Payment is issued once your device is inspected and approved, typically within 24 hours of final offer acceptance, and external payment-provider delays are outside our control.
10. Ownership Transfer
Ownership of the device transfers to DriveCentrics once payment has been made, and after payment the device cannot be returned.
11. Rejected Devices
DriveCentrics may reject devices that are blacklisted, stolen, lost, counterfeit, heavily tampered with, unsafe, or mismatched to submission details, and such devices may be returned or responsibly recycled.
12. Environmental Responsibility
Devices that cannot be refurbished or resold may be recycled to environmental standards, and by using this service you agree to responsible disposal where necessary.
13. Cancellation
You may cancel your trade-in before sending your device, but once the device is received and processed cancellation may not be possible.
14. Liability
DriveCentrics is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, liability is limited to the agreed trade-in value, and statutory rights that cannot be excluded are unaffected.
15. Fraud Prevention
DriveCentrics may carry out identity and ownership checks, suspected fraud may be reported to relevant authorities, and devices may be withheld during investigation.
16. Changes to These Terms
DriveCentrics may update these Terms at any time, and continued use indicates acceptance of any changes.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UK courts.
